Get Involved

As community-based non-for-profit organization, the Center for Community and Justice depends on the active involvement of individuals interested in contributing their time, talent and resources to help us achieve our mission. If you are interested in supporting us, here are a few ways you can help.

Volunteer

We are constantly looking for volunteers to work with Latino parent groups, tutor students, organize a conference or meeting or to help us by providing general office support. Our volunteer opportunities provide a great way to practice your Spanish, to learn more about Idaho’s Latino communities, and to make a difference in someone’s life.

Service Learning/Internships

We have longstanding working relationships with area colleges and universities, as well as, with out-of-state institutions that allows CCJ to sponsor meaningful service learning and internship opportunities, for university/college credit(s), in each of our areas of focus, Education Equity, Immigrant Rights, and Health Education and Research.

Financial Support & Contributions

As a non-profit organization we rely on the generous contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations, and other funding sources to advance our efforts. CCJ is a private not-for-profit corporation organized under and pursuant to the Idaho Nonprofit Corporation Act, Chapter 3, Title 30, Idaho code. The organization is exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
